Recognised for combining functionality with emotional appeal in its architectural projects, Alem Arquitectura pays special attention to lighting design. And this project, located on Calle Santa Engracia in Madrid, was no exception.
Light is a fundamental aspect in healthcare spaces, as it must be strong enough for professional activity to be carried out properly, while ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
In the context of a dental clinic, where one of the key points in patient-professional interaction is the dental office and where patients are directly involved in treatments, the importance of lighting is reinforced.
Seeking to merge the functional side of lighting, while at the same time turning light into a tangible, sculptural and captivating element, the Alem Arquitetura team opted for pieces from the Infinity Tube range. A range of innovative luminaires that go beyond conventional lighting projects, creating a captivating visual experience.
As Ana Monteagudo, lead architect of Alem Arquitetura, says “(…) Begolux’s Infinity Tube pieces make it possible to create an almost sculptural piece with the lighting, as it is a light tube without frames or profiles (…)”.
With their minimalist design, the Infinity Tube lights illuminate the space as a whole, while also serving as focal points, creating a harmonious ambience and adding a modern element to the decor.
